New installations:

We carry out new installations involving the design, installation and maintenance throughout. We are more than happy to have a site meeting to discuss the customers requirements and help with suggestions to give the best overall results.

Led lighting design/upgrades:

LED lights are currently the most efficient way to light up a room, in comparison to older technologies like CFL, halogen or incandescent bulbs. These bulbs can cost up to 2.5 times more to run than the new led alternatives. They are longer-lasting, emit little heat, and are much more energy-efficient than the older forms of lighting. We can design and supply led lighting for any building, office or home.

Emergency lighting:

Emergency lighting is lighting for an emergency situation when the main power supply is cut and any normal illumination fails. ... Emergency lighting is normally required to operate fully automatically and give illumination of a sufficiently high level to enable all occupants to evacuate the premises safely. The required time that the lights should work under fault conditions is 3 hours this should be regularly tested by a competent person.

Electric vehicle charging:

Having recently completed a course within electric vehicle charging we understand how important these our and will become more so within the future. We can install chargers for both PHEVS and EVS.

Fuse board replacement:

Replacement of existing consumer unit to bring your premises up to current regulations and improve the safety of your electrical installation. Once replaced it is immediately obvious when a circuit breaker has tripped as it moves into the “OFF” position and can be clearly seen, whereas if a fuse has gone you would need to remove it and test to verify. Circuit breakers and RCDS’s offer better protection than fuses, cutting power in milliseconds to reduce the chance of a fatal electric shock or fire to an absolute minimum.

Electrical Testing:

Pat testing:

Pat testing (portable appliance testing) applies to all items within any business that is not a hardwired fixed item. It is a legal requirement to have all these items periodically tested. Employers, organisations and landlords all have a responsibility to keep these checks up to date and compliant.

Landlord certificates:

Landlords are required by law to ensure: That the electrical installation in a rented property is safe when tenants move in and maintained in a safe condition throughout its duration. That a House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) has a periodic inspection carried out on the property every five years or change of occupancy.

Electrical condition reports:

An electrical installation condition report (EICR), or periodic inspection report as they used to be called, would usually be carried out when an old property or building premises has been purchased/leased to find out the condition of the electrical installation. A number of visual checks will be carried out as well as electrical checks on the cables /circuits themselves to establish the safety of the installation.

Fault finding:

We can be called upon to find the smallest of problems with our fully qualified team of experienced engineers. No matter what the issue is we can help! something that can start off as a minor issue can soon develop into something a lot of more serious electrical fires can be deadly.
